Accessibility statement

Every page includes an Accessibility options button in the corner of the screen. Opening it lets you adjust the experience to suit how you read and browse:

• Increase text size in steps up to 200%, and adjust line spacing.
• Switch between light, dark, and high-contrast themes.
• Always underline or highlight links, independent of colour.
• Switch to a dyslexia-friendly typeface (Atkinson Hyperlegible).
• Turn on a movable reading guide, a larger cursor, or a stronger focus outline.
• Reduce motion, or pause animations and media.

The whole site is operable by keyboard alone. Skip links at the top of each page let you jump straight to the main content, navigation, or footer, and a visible outline always shows which element has keyboard focus.

When you change an accessibility option, your choice is saved on your own device so it stays applied as you move between pages and on future visits. We store only these non-personal display settings (for example “larger text” or “reduce motion”) under a single key named a11y_prefs_v1. We do not store any personal information, and nothing you type on the site is kept in your browser. Clearing your browser storage resets these preferences.

We treat WCAG 2.2 AA as our baseline and review core pages against it, using both automated tooling (axe-core) and manual keyboard and screen-reader checks. Accessibility is an ongoing effort; some areas may not yet fully conform, and we welcome reports that help us improve.
